A private garden partner for the New Forest
Banks Landscapes was co-founded by Louie Banks and our sister company, Agrumi Limited, who have spent twenty years working with garden designers and landscapers. We started here in the New Forest, and it's still where we do our best work. Louie began on the tools, digging footings and laying brick, so the way we design a garden now comes straight out of years spent building them and caring for them afterwards.
We're a small team, on purpose. The people who plan your garden are on site while it's built, and they come back to look after it as it settles in. Responsibility doesn't change hands halfway through, and that continuity is what we're really selling.
The gardens we're proudest of are the ones that look better now than the day we handed them over. The hedges have grown together, the brick has softened, and the planting has settled into the shape it was set up for. We pick every plant and material with that in mind: how it will mature, and what it will ask of you once we've gone.
We build on the ground we've got here, acid soil and wind off the Solent and protected trees, because it's the ground we live on too.

One coherent plan covering appearance, construction, planting, budget, phasing and future maintenance, with inclusions and exclusions in writing.

Delivered by one accountable project lead. Realistic schedules, regular progress updates, tidy and discreet sites, proper completion and snagging.
Nurture
Aftercare and ongoing stewardship so the garden establishes properly and improves as it matures. We are still there long after the build is finished.
